This hand crafted broom is contructed with multi-colored broom corn fiber. It has an unusual stitch pattern which makes it fan out in a wing like structure.
A special variety of broom corn gives this fireplace broom a rich, multi-hued color. The broom has been built on an unusual twisted handle by weaving the broom corn fiber.
An interesting piece of twisted wood was used to create the handle for this item which was hand crafted by artist Henry Tschetter from broom corn he raised in Northern Kent County.
