Inspired by the intricate mola of San Blas Island, the handstitched design wss created by the artist using a "reverse applique" technique in colorful cotton fabric. The body of the purse, which measures 8x9", is quilted silk, lined and outlined with a bright red cotton strap that can be shortened by knotting.
