This book is named "Procession of Kings" because of the beautiful artwork reproduced on the front and back endsheets. The artwork is a reproduction of "Lorenzo de Medici" by Italian artist Berozzo Gozzoli. The cover is cut out to show a king on horseback and then when you open it, it will show this to be a continuous picture. The picture at the back of the book is from the same sheet of paper and is also a continuous picture. This piece also features knotwork along the spine in a wine-red satin ribbon and a sterling silver box clasp with a set garnet that holds the book closed. The pages in this book are blank and can be used for drawing/sketching, writing, watercolor, and light collage. (Calligraphy is not recommended as the paper used has some texture)
