Turner Pens Bacote Fountain Pen

The Variationen II fountain pen, combines form and functionality with rare and precious woods to make a truely unique beautiful writing instruments.

I use figured wood or strongly coloured wood in each creation due to its beauty and or interesting irregularities. I may spend many hours of work on each pen so as to ensure the finest quality of finish is achieved and that each pen and every pencil is unique and has its own individual characteristics.

This pen is made from Bocote. It is found in Mexico and Central South America. Colour is tobacco yellow to reddish brown with black stripes, often highly figured with eyes.

Each piece of wood is turned on a hand lathe before being meticulously finished by hand.

The fountain pen comes with a quality semi flexible 2 tone nib that write smoothly and guaranteed reliable ink flow. Supplied with a ink converter and cartridge.

They will be the centre piece of any writing desk.
