Handcrafted mountain dulcimer number 253 of Lake Superior Salvaged Flame Birch with a Ancient Kauri Wood soundboard, Ribbon Ebony wood fretboard overlay, 5 locater dots of gold Mother of Pearl. The Birch wood is certified to be between 250 to 500 year old, old growth wood that has been underwater for 75 to 100 years. The Ancient Kauri Wood has been radio carbon dated at between 30,000 and 50,000 years old. All woods are solid with no plywood veneers. The tuners are gold plated Gotoh with 16:1 gear ratio. The fret length is 25.5" which makes playing very comfortable. I also have most of the accessories; cases, books,capos, etc. that you may want or need in stock.
