Handmade book - "Büknecklace"; black, red, white

Shown is one of my favorite "inventions". Designed to wear around the neck, the tiny book hangs on a 32" silver plated chain and is kept closed with a sterling silver filigree box clasp. Hanging on the corner is a small drop with a red glass bead and a fresh water pearl. Sewn on the cover in red thread is another red glass bead matching the one hanging. This book is fully functional and can be used for writing or keeping small locket photos.
