A NICE HANDCARVED SOAPSTONE BEAR. I take a piece of Quebec soapstone and love to see it transform into a beautiful polished subject. By using a variation of delicate files, riffler rasps and chisels, I work the stone until the piece turns into a work of beauty, something that can be cherished for years to come.

Measures - Approx. 8-3/4" x 4-3/4" x 3" across. Made of Quebec soapstone. Dark green in color. Artist signed. Weight - 5-3/4#.
