Lori Reilly

Artist Biography:
Hi everyone, I'm Lori Reilly. I may be in Tennessee, but I'm a true Michigander. I was born in Detroit, MI. At the age of 16 my family moved to Grand Rapids, where I finished high school. After I married my husband and I moved to Pierson, MI. where we raised our two daughters. My eldest daughter and four grandchildren still live in the Grand Rapids area. My youngest daughter resides in St. Augustine, FL. 12years ago we decided to escape the Michigan winters and moved to Alabama. After a couple years we moved to Greenbrier, TN, which is just north of Nashville. I've had various hobbies over the years, but six years ago my husband bought me a scroll saw for Christmas, because I said I wanted to do something with wood. (I'd never even seen a scroll saw until then.) I became so obsessed with scrolling, my husband said that he "created a monster". I would rather think that he created an "Artist." He is extremely supportive of my woodworking. A year ago he convinced me to retire and to "just enjoy what you love doing most." I am excited about becoming a part of gozabo and starting another chapter of my life.
